Enter a number.

Type a number of minutes and the box shows when that was, by your own clock. As a quick check, 45 minutes before 12:15 p.m. was 11:30 a.m., and 90 minutes before 12:30 a.m. was 11:00 p.m. the day before.

Minutes Ago questions

How do I work out what time it was in a number of minutes?

Take away the minutes from the time on your clock, turning every 60 minutes into an hour. For example, 75 minutes before 2:50 p.m. is 1 hour and 15 minutes earlier. The hour takes you to 1:50 p.m. and the 15 minutes to 1:35 p.m.

Does this use my time zone?

Yes. Your browser reports your time zone, so someone in New York and someone in London see different answers on the same page. If the clocks change for daylight saving time inside the span, the answer allows for it.
