Set Crews to 3 to see every crew's hitches (offsets 0, 7, 14 days). Change the hours if your shifts are not 12 hours. Copy link keeps your dates, so your family or crew can open the same calendar; nothing is uploaded.

How the 14/7 rotation works
The 2 weeks on, 1 week off pattern (also called 2:1 roster, 2 and 1 FIFO roster, 14 and 7) is common in fly-in fly-out (FIFO) mining and construction in Australia and Canada, where three crews keep two on site at all times. With 3 crews starting 7 days apart, 2 crews are on site every day.
- Cycle length: 21 days; 67% of the year on site
- Days on site per year: about 244; days at home: about 121
- Hitches per year: about 17
- At 12 hours a day: about 2,922 hours a year, an average of 56 hours a week
- The weekday you fly in stays the same every hitch, because the cycle is a whole number of weeks
Overtime: under the US Fair Labor Standards Act, hours over 40 in each fixed 7-day workweek are overtime, so most weeks on a hitch include overtime. In Australia, rosters are set by the enterprise agreement. Use the overtime calculator for a specific week.
