2 Minute Timer
2:00
Ready: two minutes.
Press Start for two minutes, the brushing time the American Dental Association recommends, twice a day.
What a 2 minute timer is good for
Teeth. The American Dental Association says two minutes, twice a day, and most of us stop well short. Put a timer by the sink and children get a clear finish line: about 30 seconds for each quarter of the mouth.
David Allen's two-minute rule says that if a task takes less than two minutes, do it now rather than writing it down. Lifters often rest about two minutes between heavy sets. The NFL's two-minute warning comes from the same number.
Good to know
Split the two minutes into four 30-second parts: upper right, upper left, lower left, lower right. Children can switch sides when the clock passes 1:30, 1:00 and 0:30.
